First Time Homebuyer Program Announced

Click Here for information about the 2025 Minnesota City Participation Program that was accessed by the Southeastern Minnesota Multi-County Housing and Redevelopment Authority (SEMMCHRA) on behalf of cities in Dodge, Goodhue, Wabasha, and Winona Counties.
The interest rate, which can change daily, is below market rate and can apply to either a 15 or 30-year fixed rate mortgage. Qualifying first time home buyers may also receive down payment and closing costs assistance. This program will end when funding is either exhausted or in early December 2025.
SEMMCHRA has been allotted $1,447,414 on a first come, first served basis in Dodge, Goodhue, Wabasha, and Winona Counties (excluding the Cities of Red Wing and Winona).
Homebuyer education is required for some Minnesota Housing Finance Agency loan programs. For more information visit semmchra.org and mnhousing.gov.
